Today’s blog entry brings us to Limassol, Cyprus, where our loving couple, Demetris and Maria, married one another amongst the company of their family and friends at the Amathus Beach hotel. This Amathus Limassol wedding took place during September, giving everybody present the opportunity to take advantage of the beautifully setting sun as the day progressed into night.
Prior to this Amathus Limassol wedding, Demetris and Maria also got married in St. Petersburg, as this is Maria’s hometown. The wedding was a wonderful success but the couple wanted to hold two weddings to share the joy of marriage with all of their loved ones, and so arranged an additional wedding to take place in Cyprus.
Demetris and Maria are clearly head over heels in love with one another. Their wedding day was the perfect opportunity to embrace the importance of love and affection.
They both looked fantastic and the bride looked absolutely radiant in her beautifully flowing dress. As day turned to night the couple also took time out for a more relaxed outfit change, giving them the chance to dance the night away with greater comfort.
These wonderful photos perfectly capture the mood of the day – joyful, romantic and filled with pure happiness. They also capture the fun that Demetris and Maria had on their special day, as there was plenty of singing and dancing – not only from a traditional Cypriot group that took to the stage, but also from the couple themselves, who performed a mesmerising tango dance and also sang a wonderful duet of a well-known Greek song.
In addition to capturing endless shots of the couple on their wedding day, we also filmed a video showcasing some of the highlights of the day. The video graciously captures the memories of the wedding, and is certain to be something that Demetris and Maria watch over and over again for years to come.
All in all, this incredible day is one that Demetris and Maria will never, ever forget, and thanks to some of the heart warming shots that were captured throughout the day, their memories are set in stone forevermore.
