This week’s blog article takes us to a beautiful Larnaca wedding which took place in December 2013. This time we attended the wedding of Laura and Vassos, a wonderfully loved-up couple who have been together for two years.
Laura and Vassos met in London on 17th December 2011 and as time passed their love for one another grew deeper and deeper. Vassos was living in London at the time but eventually made the decision to relocate to Cyprus to be with the love of his life.
On 3rd August 2013, Laura arranged a surprise birthday party for Vassos at the Holiday Inn’s outdoor restaurant and terrace in Nicosia. The restaurant has spectacular views of the whole of Nicosia together with great food and a wonderful atmosphere.
Although Laura had planned to surprise Vassos that night it was in fact the other way around, as Vassos had chosen that night to propose to Laura. With great joy and happiness in her heart she said ‘yes’, and from then on the wedding preparations began.
Laura and Vassos got married on 17th December 2013, exactly two years after they met. This beautiful Larnaca wedding took place at the Larnaca Town Hall, where Laura and Vassos exchanged vows under the devoted watch of family and friends. Laura was dressed in a beautiful shade of red that perfectly complemented the flowers, ties and decorations that were present at the wedding.
After the wedding we went for a photo shoot at the beautiful Panagia Aggeloktisi church, a historical church with stunning grounds that were the perfect backdrop for our photo session. Following the photo session the couple continued the celebrations with friends and loved ones at a private party.
Doing a shoot at this time of year is always a touching reminder of the magic of Christmas and the importance of love. Getting married in December is even more romantic that any other time of year, as the excitement of Christmas resonates around us and the message of love, joy and happiness is made even clearer.
Taking photos of this lovely couple was such a pleasure as their love for one another was so strong. This beautiful Larnaca wedding possessed all the important qualities that any wedding should possess: true love, understanding and respect for one another.
