We photographed this lovely beach proposal photo session with Ajay and Vaishaly at Hawaii Grand Resort. I have been a photographer in Cyprus for more than five years now and covered weddings and other events, but this is the first time someone asked me for a beach proposal photo session. That’s why I gladly accepted the offer and told him that I am up for the job. I’m also glad to document this once in a lifetime event for the couple.
Beach Proposal Photo Session with Ajay and Vaishaly
Limassol has witnessed a lot of love stories throughout its history. Cyprus’ second largest city has inspired people to do romantic things for their loved one, and we are thrilled to be part of one of the sweetest thing that a guy can do to a woman he loves. Ajay hired us for a beach proposal photo session, which is a surprise for his now fiancée Vaishaly.
Ajay and Vaishaly went to Limassol for their first ever holiday together. Vaishaly has no ideas of what her boyfriend has in store for her during their romantic getaway at the Hawaii Grand Resort. She thought that it will be about quality time with each other and didn’t expect to be part of a beach proposal photo session.
The planning for the beach proposal photo session started when Ajay contacted us a couple of days before their scheduled holiday in Cyprus. He told us that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend Vaishaly on the beach. He wants us to document the proposal so that they can look back at that romantic day in the future.
Ajay and I worked out all the details of the beach proposal photo session to ensure that everything will be according to plan. We have done all the planning without Vaishaly knowing about it. We have laid the perfect plan for the proposal; from the time they arrive at the hotel to the beach where he will finally pop the question.
On the day of the beach proposal photo session, our team arrived an hour before the event. We met up with Ajay in secret so that we can finalise the details. He said that he planned to propose on the beautiful wedding pier at the nearby hotel, Elias Beach. The pier has been known as one of the most romantic places in Limassol and the perfect spot for the proposal.
We came up with the perfect scenario that will allow them to have the pier for themselves during the beach proposal photo session. Then Vaishaly arrived in a red dress. Ajay dropped on one knee and asked her the most important question. Ajay is visually relieved and happy when she said yes. Actually both of them were filled with happiness and joy during that moment. W we gave them a couple of minutes of private time to allow Vaishaly to grasp what just happened. Then we asked them to take a walk along the beach, where we took more shots of the couple.
