As a Modern Limassol Christening Photographer I am blessed with the chance of being close to people, on their special moments. Our first blog post of the month is about a charming christening that took place earlier in June. The little angel that was being christened was baby Isabella, who was christened before a small gathering of family and friends including her parents, Cristina and Constantin, as well as her older sister, Bianca.
Modern Limassol Christening Photographer | A blessed & beautiful morning
Cristina and Constantin contacted me seeking a modern Limassol christening photographer to take the pictures of their daughter’s special day. We made the arrangements to meet on the day, and since the christening was to take place in June we were more than hopeful of some beautiful weather to complement our pictures.
The service took place at Ayia Triada church in Limassol, a beautiful church with wonderful detailing including an abundance of striking icons and a large courtyard surrounded by large trees.
As a modern Limassol christening photographer it can often be difficult to predict the exact circumstances of the day as they develop. Since the christening took place in the middle of June we anticipated good weather, and although the sun was shining it was exceptionally hot and humid.
As such it was a relatively rapid service as everyone was rushing to head to the restaurant and escape from the heat. I remained on location for just one hour, snapping away in a bid to capture some perfect memories of this important day. After an eventful and tiring day, little Isabella wanted nothing more than to fall asleep in the arms of her mother.
Despite the climate we still managed to shoot some stunning photos of baby Isabella as her service was conducted by the priest. Cristina chose to dress the family all in white to match with Isabella’s beautiful white christening gown. Isabella’s sister, Bianca, also wore a gorgeous white headband that perfectly complemented her little sister’s headband.
Bringing a child into this world can be a stressful and worrying experience, but when you baptise that child under the eyes of God, you know that they are being protected under his loving gaze. Isabella’s christening was a heartfelt, peaceful and calm service and as a modern Limassol christening photographer it is always an honour to capture those moments through the lens of my camera.
