Today’s blog post is about a Cyprus family photo shoot that took place earlier this month at Curium beach and its surrounding areas. The focus of our shoot was on little Harry and his parents, George and Maria, who spent the afternoon watching their son as he chased through the fields and splashed about in the water.
Harry is 14 months old and is brimming with energy. Born in February last year, he has sparkling blue eyes which shine brighter than the ocean. Maria and George wanted a Cyprus family photo shoot as a memory of the precious early years of family life, and so we arranged the shoot and decided that the area around Curium beach would make the ideal setting for our photo session. Maria chose the outfits, sticking with shades of blue to bring out the crystal blue in Harry’s eyes.
We began our shoot in a small grassy area with some beautiful trees and bushes as a backdrop. We were blessed with wonderful natural lighting that was perfect for capturing shots of Harry as he ran through the grass, chasing his ball and exploring his surroundings.
Harry was a fantastic model and his parents looked on with pleasure as he rejoiced in his surroundings, happily playing as I shot away at the camera. He is by nature an explorer which made the grassy area the perfect location for our photo session. We also made sure to capture plenty of images of Harry, George and Maria together as they relaxed, laughed, smiled and played as I took their pictures.
After a while we made our way to Curium beach but the water proved to be too enticing for Harry. As the waves crashed against the shoreline he wanted nothing more than to splash about in the water rather than have his picture taken, and who can blame him? Instead, we used the opportunity to capture some romantic shots of George and Maria as they embraced one another and enjoyed the setting sun.
The final result is a collection of stunning shots of this beautiful couple and their handsome little boy. Having the photo session at this time of day enabled us to be able take advantage of the sun’s naturally glorious light, which perfectly complemented each and every picture.
