This blog post takes us to the stunning shoreline of Ayia Napa’s world-renowned Nissi Beach. Visited by thousands of tourists every year, this beach is one of the most talked about and popular beaches in Cyprus.
As an Ayia Napa wedding photographer I love to use this beach to take some shots of newly married couples. It is an absolutely beautiful beach with crystal blue waters and soft, white sand, making the ultimate backdrop for any photo shoot – not just a wedding shoot.

Today’s blog story is slightly different as our couple in question – Iuliana and Razvan, were already married when the shoot took place last month.
They simply got dressed up all over again to have some fun on the beach in their gorgeous wedding outfits – which soon got a little messy after lots of running around on the beach.
Our beautiful couple brought with them their two children, two year old Alexandru, whose christening I shot back in 2012, and baby Maria, who was just recently christened. We were able to take some quick shots of the entire family before little Maria got restless and required attention.
As an Ayia Napa wedding photographer I like to take advantage of all of the resources around me, and this shoot was no exception. We planned plenty of mini stops throughout our shoot including a stop at the volleyball beach as well as a visit to the local chapel.
I also took advantage of the Nissi Beach hotel’s grounds, which features bright green grass and glorious, tropical trees.
Since Nissi Beach is such a popular beach it was surprising to find it almost desolate for the duration of our shoot. This made the pictures that much more romantic and special and gave Iuliana and Razvan the freedom to be completely at ease with the camera as they spent their time running, laughing, dancing and playing on the beach as I captured my gorgeous shots.
The bright blue skies against the crystal blue waters and the green grass of the Nissi Beach Hotel grounds left us with some striking pictures of this beautiful family. And despite the chaos that naturally comes with having young children, Iuliana and Razvan still manage to keep their love for one another very strong.
Being an Ayia Napa wedding photographer is incredibly rewarding as I get the opportunity to photograph people from all walks of life. This photo shoot was brilliant fun and the love and happiness between this couple really shone through in all the pictures.
